Just like Keun Suk once said in an interview that he likes this role because it’s the one he could act as his age because normally the roles he got often be those elder and a lot more mature… I could see what he meant.

I think one reason he always get the role of leading persons in his acting career could probably because of his eyes. I think they’re so powerful and seem to define a determined person who makes sharp decisions . Having eye-contact with such kind of person could make the opponent feels inferior. I think Keun Suk’s good for his facial expressions. By his eyes, they define various feeling like sad, love, care, angry, jealous…etc

However, it’s good to add-in Tae Kyung “playful” character because it does make this drama cuter and more addictable. So, it wouldn’t be too serious role but mature…. I’d say responsible youngster leader role.

 

Jang Keun Suk in Hwang Jin Yi

 

As Kim Eun Ho (Hwang Jin Yi’s first love)

This would be the first drama I’ve noticed Keun Suk’s appearance. As I watched Hwang Jin Yi (two years ago) I thought his role was outstanding. Unfortunately, it was quite short for his part.

However, thanks to the unforgetable Kim Eun Ho’s character as being Hwang Jin Yi (Ha Ji Won)’s first love, even myself remained lost with Hwang Jin Yi’s rememberance toward him. I’d say… eventhough there was Kim Jung Han (Kim Jae Won) who became her husband after. I kept thinking of her first love. It’s like ah… that’s because her husband reminded her of her first love.

 

Therefore, it was like a reflection back to Keun Suk as he was the one. That’s why even if there was a lot of other stuff happened after, he remained thought of and unexpectedly won 2006 KBS Performance Awards for Best Couple Award together with Ha Ji Won.

From my personal opinion, I like the part Hwang Jin Yi was falling in love with Eun Ho better than the rest. It was so sweet and naive though there was tragedy in consequence.

It was such a good drama series to see bit of cultural history of Korea.

Jang Keun Suk

 

After following his drama series, music and stuff. I’ve found out that there’re such a lot of many interesting things about him.

Unlike other stars, Jang Keun Suk is rather a sincere type of person who doesn’t care much about his image. He seems to appreciate those fans who could accept his as the way he really is, a stright-forward guy.

Reading through his messages to fans, I’d say I like him more and that he becomes kind of  “real” and “exist” not just like usual farway idols.

That’s why now me, becoming an eel member. Welcome to my little eel house. Let’s say I wouldn’t go by craziness but I’ll update with his talents I could follow aka drama series, movies, music etc…
